Fastest was the Bike magazine Triumph 675 which team Inzane rider Russ Joyner put "into the 10s" at 10.87 at 128.46mph, making him fastest on the day.
This will be on "fifth gear" during its next series, although Tiff Needell might fail to mention that fittingly he was beaten into fifth place!

( 3 / 2886 )We thought Snetterton would be a challenge as the high speed track does not play to the Laverda's strengths but we were rescued by the rain. A full grid of 40 (we were joined by 39 SV650s) meant that two 8th places in the dry were excellent results, but we were stunned when Russ added a 4th and a 2nd in the wet. This has elevated us to 4th in the championship. Bring on Cadwell 26/27 April!

( 3 / 2119 )51 Suzuki SV650s and 1 biofuelled Laverda 650 Formula lined up for the first BMCRC Minitwins meeting of the year at Brands hatch. Dodgy weather made for difficult tyre choices but some spectacular racing. Russ brought the Laverda home with two 6ths, a 7th and an 11th to put us in 9th place in the hotly contested BCL Watches series. "Game on!"

( 3 / 2807 )Inzane Laverda hit the front at the BMCRC "Lord of Lydden" meeting on 13th October. Russ Joyner put the Formula 650 on Pole, ahead of a tight field of Suzuki SV650s - with 0.5s covering the first five.
The start of the first race saw Paul Martin and Russ swapping the lead twice on the first lap before Paul executed a huge highside which brought out the red flag.
The re-start saw Russ hit the front on the first lap and lead the first nine laps, until Paul Hinton slipped into the lead with 2 corners to go, taking the win by 0.186s. Still a top result for Inzane - narrowly missing the first biofuel win on only its third outing, on a bike that is still getting faster.

( 3 / 921 )Russell Joyner riding for Team Inzane Laverda, took his biofuel powered Laverda 650 Formula to three third places at the Mallory Park round of the UK national MiniTwins Championship over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The bike, which has only raced once before since its conversion to the renewable alcohol fuel ran faultlessly and Russell qualified on the front row before putting in some very competitive race performances.
