Inzane win at BMCRC Brands Hatch centenary meeting 18th April 2009

....but it was close! Russ Joyner finished fourth in the first Minitwins race at Brands Hatch, putting him on the front row for the second race which turned out to be the closest race of the meeting. Glynn Davies and Dan Hopkins battled for first place throughout the race, with Glynn finally pipping Dan at the finish by less than 0.1s. Unfortunately for Glynn, Russ had slipstreamed him out of Clearways, crossing the line 0.04s ahead to take a memorable win!

Crash, bang, splash! Down but not out at Snetterton 28/29 March 2009

A windswept and rain-lashed Snetterton meant that Russ, the bio Ducati and the team's championship aspirations all took a real battering with a couple of crashes and no points on Saturday. Lots of graft, glass fibre and gaffer tape got us back out on Sunday with Russ coaxing the bike round for an 8th and a 5th.

New leathers from Crescent Performance and a well executed custom helmet from BLD Group gave Russ Joyner a new look as he piloted the Inzane Ducati to two podiums at the opening Brands Hatch round. It all looks good for the season: judge for yourself by clicking the picture:

Inzane is back! - Events for 2009

Thanks to more support from eBio, Inzane is again competing in the BMCRC Minitwins class on the biofuel powered Ducati 800SS in 2009:

Brands Hatch 7-8 March
Snetterton 28-29 March
Brands Hatch 18-19 April Note: This is the BMCRC Centenary Meeting
Oulton Park 26-27 June
Cadwell Park 22-23 August
Snetterton 5-6 September
Thruxton 17 October
Lydden Hill 31 October - 1 November

In addition the team will run two bikes in the Alternative Energy Drag race at Santa Pod on the 24th April. It will be interesting to see if we can beat the electric superbikes being developed for the TTX GP.
